The Status of Research and Production of Surfactants Made from Fatty Acid Methyl Ester

Fatty acid methyl ester,as an important chemical material,has attracted considerable attention and great efforts since the rapid development of bio-diesel industry.The biodegradable surfactants that prepared from fatty acid methyl ester are described.And the product performance,developing status and production situation at present of ethylene oxide adduct,sodium fatty acid methyl ester α-sulfonate,and fatty acid sucrose ester are mainly introduced.
