Domestication and Foreignization:Two Complement Methods in Translation

As two major translation techniques,foreignization and domestication have long been the focus of the debate in translation filed.This paper gives a general review of the study of domestication and foreignization in the last two decades in China,and points out translation strategies are affected by different factors.It also points out foreignization is the general trend with the progress of the economic globalization and intercommunications among different cultures.
