Empirical Study on Impact of the RMB Exchange Rate on China's Export Structure

Using annual data 1985-2012 years as a sample,this paper uses a single whole,cointegration,causality and other methods to measure and study the changes RMB real effective exchange rate of China's total imports and exports of primary products and manufactured goods,and industrial ratio the impact of labor-intensive and capital-intensive products and export of finished goods ratio. The empirical results show that there are long-term and stable co-integration relationship between model variables; changes in real effective exchange rate is the reason the import and export product structure and the structure of China's import and export of manufactured goods adjustment.
