Ground Subsidence Mechanism and Stability Analysis of the Goaf Area of Asbestos in Dalian Economic Technical Development Zone

Abstract

The forming and mechanism of ground subsidence in the goaf area of asbestos in Dalian Economic Technical Development Zone were analyzed and the stability of the goaf area was evaluated using ANSYS software in this paper.The results show that the form of ground subsidence in the goaf area is mainly of collapse pit with surface crack,long beaded surface collapse pit,phialiform and oval pit,and sing long collapse pit.The strength,quantity and aspect ratio of mine prop are the determining factors of ground movement.It is shown from numerical simulation using ANSYS software that the deformation of goaf area still continues,with larger trend of overall changes.Therefore,it is suggested to strengthen monitoring to ensure safety.
