Abstract
Meshfree method which uses Lagrange viewpoint is based on a group of moving and adaptive particles, and this method has very high accuracy for capturing the large deformable domain and free surface. Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) is one kind of meshfree method, and its basic theory and calculation approach will be introduced, including basic concept of SPH, basic theory of kernel approximation and particle approximation, generation of kernel function,SPH formulation for general dynamic fluid flow, boundary handling method and numerical behaviors. The purpose of the research is focused on finding the theory characteristic and potential advantage of SPH, and it is the basic theory and algorithm for further research and improvement of corresponding problems.
