Abstract
The pollution of micro organic substance to surface water has been universal. In order to understand the pollution status quo and the characteristics of the pollutants in Yangtze water, the check measurement to the micro organic pollutants in water, bottom material and fish body along Yangtze river stretches of urban areas in major cities was carried out. Based on the measured results, the sorts, content and distribution characteristics of micro organic pollutants are analysed and described. Water quality comprehensive evaluation is carried out by the evaluation method of “multi medium environmental objective value” introduced from U.S. The results demonstrate that the water of the urban river sections of major cities has been polluted generally by micro organic pollutants, totally 308 kinds of organic substance in 12 categories are checked out, mainly including alkyl, PAH and lipid. In general, the content of micro organic pollutants in fish body is higher than that in bottom material and the pollutants in bottom material are higher than that in water. The pollution in the urban river sections of large medium size comprehensive industry city is relatively serious and the impact on human health and overall ecologic environment is rather significant. All the conditions should arouse the concern from various aspects.
