Abstract
Objective To compare blood routine, liver function, virus load,Child-Pugh classification between HBeAg-negative and HBeAg-positive hepatitis B liver cirrhosis patients, and to investigate its relationship with disease progression. Methods The blood routine indices( WBC,HBG,PLT),liver function indices( ALT,TBIL,ALB,PTA) and HBV DNA quantitation in 190 cases of HBeAgnegative and in 88 cases of HBeAg-positive hepatic cirrhosis patients were measured. The age, progression of disease, gender, blood biochemistry and Child-Pugh classification were compared between two groups. Results The age of HBeAg-negative hepatic cirrhosis patients was older than that of HBeAg-positive hepatic cirrhosis patients( P 0. 01). There was no significant difference in gender distribution between two groups( P 0. 05). The serum WBC and PLT were lower in HBeAg-negative hepatic cirrhosis patients than in HBeAg-positive hepatic cirrhosis patients( P 0. 05). Serum ALT was higher in HBeAg-positive hepatic cirrhosis patients than in HBeAg-negative hepatic cirrhosis patients( P 0. 05). The HBV-DNA virus load was higher in HBeAg-positive hepatic cirrhosis patientsthan in HBeAg-negative hepatic cirrhosis patients( P 0. 0 1). The incidence of Child-Pugh B was higher in HBeAg-positive hepatic cirrhosis patients than that in HBeAg-negative hepatic cirrhosis patients( P 0. 01),while the incidence of Child-Pugh C was lower in HBeAg-positive hepatic cirrhosis patients than that in HBeAg-negative hepatic cirrhosis patients( P 0. 01). There was no significant difference in ALB,TBIL,PT between two groups( P 0. 05). Conclusion Compared with HBeAg-positive hepatic cirrhosis patients, the liver inflammation is weaker, hepatic reservation function is poorer and liver cirrhosis is severer in HBeAg- negative hepatic cirrhosis patients.
