Abstract
Using data of years 97-08 supported by SME stations,research distribution of center magnetic latitude of auroral electrojet following with different seasons and UT.It is generally understood that the center of the auroral electrojet tends to migrate equatorward with increasing magnetic activity.We ananlyse equatorward migration of auroral electrojet through the varitions of latitude with different magnetic disturb level.We found that:1)The coverage of SME stations is more widely.it's useful for research feature of latitude distribution;2)Distribution of west auroral electrojet is opposite with distribution of strength,it's lowest in spring and autumn,and it's highest in summer and winter;3) In quited disturbed period,distribution of latitude is effected by strength of auroral electrojet;in disturbed period,distribution of latitude is little effectedby strength of auroral electrojet.
