Evaluation of Resistance to Frustum wilt and Verticllium wilt of Cotton Varieties in Shaanxi Provincial Regional Trial

The resistance of cotton to Fusarium wilt and Vertillium wilt were evaluated with 79 varieties(lines) from Shaanxi provincial regional trials during the period of 2003-2007.The results showed that most of the varieties(lines) had high or middle resistance to Fusarium wilt,but the ratio of the varieties(lines) with high resistance to Vertillium wilt was low.In total,the resistance of cotton to Fusarium wilt had been lowered while the resistance to Vertillium wilt increased.In the these varieties(lines),17 ones had better resistances to both of the diseases than that of others.
