Abstract

Separation of uranium and molybdenum is a key problem in processing uranium molybdenum ores.Differences of aqueous solution chemical properties of uranium and molybdenum, and principles of precipitation, solvent extraction, ion exchange and fluid film extraction methods and their application in separating of uranium and molybdenum are described. The general principles for selective separation of uranium and molybdenum are proposed.
