Abstract
Biomass is the sole renewable carbon resource that can be transferred into liquid and gas fuels as well as other chemicals. Development of biomass energy is significant to alleviate the energy crisis, protect the environment and national energy security. The development status of biomass energy technology in China was introduced; the application and development prospects of microbial energy production status were discussed,and then put forward the measures to develop biomass energy by microorganism.
