Abstract
Objective To study optical problems on intraocular lens and implantation of lens into human eye by using modulation transfer function(MTF) theory, and scientific evaluate the imaging quality of the eye optical system after the implantation of intraocular lens. Methods The normal refractive system in normal MTF using MTF measurement were performed, and established study model of implanting intraocular lenses of various optical constructions into the precise schematic eyes, and Zemax optical calculation software was used to get geometric aberration and MTF. Results The doubleconvex shape owned the optimal MTF value; convex and flat shaped were good imaging quality; poor of flat-convex and the worst of concave-convex shape. Conclusion It is demonstrated that the research has a great practical value in ophthalmic clinic, designing and manufacturing of intraocular lenses as well as the developing intraocular.
