Abstract
This paper analyzes the feature-based virtual assembly product information model, and points out the features of virtual assembly product information model based on physics, and based on the extension of material class library in the STEP standard base, advances the physic-based three-tier virtual assembly product model which is described with the feature class information, class base information and assembly structure, and establishes a physics-based virtual assembly product information model.
