Abstract
[Objective]To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of measles in Dezhou in 2005,in order to direct the control and prevention for measles in the future.[Methods]To analyze the data from measles surveillance system.[Results]547 borderline cases and 369 definite measles cases were reported and the incidence was 6.72/100 000.56 cases came from 15 measles outbreak spots,the others were all sporadic cases.25 cases were onset because of hospital infection.The prevelent season was from March to July(88.62%),and age range of cases was mainly between 8 months and 5 years old(36.85%)and above 18 years old(38.49%).69.38% of the total measles cases were not immunized or immunization history unknown.[Conclusion]The age distbution and vaccination status of measles cases reminded that the routine immunization service should be strengthened,at same time the measles vaccination should be implemented to adults.
