Themes of Actor-related Poems in the Tang Dynasty

As one of the most commonly seen types of poems in the Tang Dynasty,actor-related poems,though with a great number,have received little attention from researchers.They are not covered in the researches of Tang poems and literary aesthetics.However,these poems have not only provided vivid descriptions for the actors at that time and eulogized their highly skillful performance,but they have also contained the poets' special sentiments to these actors.Researches on this special type of poems can help to expand the scope of researches on Tang poems,and will do good to the understanding of the rich connotations and diversity of Tang poems as a literary genre.
