Study on the Transformation of Chinese Economic Development Pattern

Economic development means a transformation from underdevelopment to a developed state,which includes growth in number and improvement in quality.Whether a country's economy can achieve sustainable development is determined by its development mode.Although material-centered economic development mode has brought about an increase in wealth,the social problems it causes have restricted our country's further development.Therefore,the development pattern of people-oriented must be turned to which emphasizes technological progress and knowledge innovation while attaching great importance to the coordination of economic operation and the comprehensive development of people.The fundamental transformation of development pattern from material-centered to people-oriented could be realized through economic structure change,distribution system reform,social security system improvement and institutional mechanism innovation.
