Geological relic resources and the value evaluation of Qinling Zhongnanshan Global Geopark

Qinling Zhongnanshan Global Geopark is located in the classic section of Qinling orogenic belt,known as the Chinese central national park. The result indicates that geological relics in the park are typical,rich,concentrated and well-preserved. It could be divided into six broad classes,including geological profile relics,geological formation relics,ancient human remains,geomorphologic landscape,water landscape and environmental geological relics,and followed with fourteen subclasses and eighteen classes. By construction of scientific value and tourism value evaluation index system,the scientific value and tourism value of geological relics of Zhongnanshan Geopark were quantitative analyzed. It can provide basis for resources protection and tourism development.
