Abstract
Objective To study the chemical constituents of Hedyotis diffusa Willd. Methods Compounds were isolated by column chromatography of silica, and the structures were determined by spectral analysis. Results Six compounds were isolated and elucidated as lupenyl acetate(1);caffeic acid(2);3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid(3);5-hydroxy-6,7,3′,4′-tetramethoxy flavone(4);quercetin(5);kaempferol(6).Conclusion Compounds 1-4 are isolated from this plant for the first time.
