Abstract
Objective:To observe the effects of soybean isoflavone(SIF)on Apo-E4 in Hippocampus of AD rats.Method:AD rat models were established by bilateral hippocampus injection of Aβ after divided into groups at random, the rats were administered with different doses of soybean isoflavone. The changes in learning and memory ability of AD rats were observed by Morris water maze test. The changes in Hippocampal Morphology of AD rats were determined by hematoxylin-eosin staining. The content of Apo-E4 were measured by ELISA.Result:Soybean isoflavone(SIF)could improve the learning and memory ability(P0.01),reduce the loss of hippocampal neurons and significantly decrease the Apo-E4 content in Hippocampus(P0.01)of AD Rats. Conclusion:Soybean isoflavone can improve AD rats' learning and memory ability by decreasing the content of Apo-E4.
