Abstract
In this paper the dynamic Cournot model with firms more than two, which is generalized from the Cournot model for duopoly market, is considered. We propose a mathematical formula of the general dynamic Cournot model, and which shows with some complex deduction that the existence of the equilibrium solution of this model is always kept. Further, we obtain the formula of the equilibrium solution. These results have essential significance to enrich the theory of Cournot model.
