Abstract

Alice Walker is an outstanding contemporary Afro-American woman writer.Her works reveal the inner world of the black women and their creativity,and describe the hard course of their resisting oppression,which shows Walker's understanding about the black women and her great concerns about the liberation of the black women.This paper tries to discuss how Celie and her sisters exert their creativity to find the way of surviving and realize self-fulfillment.
