Abstract

A new chromate-free passivation solution consisting of K2TiF6,HNO3,H3BO3,C6H11O7Na,NaNO3 was used to treat the galvanized surface.Being poisonless,low-cost,and simple in handling, the solution can generate a bluish-white,corrosion-resistant passive film on the galvanized surface. The NSS time of the film reaches 43 hours.
