Abstract
Superposition theorem is an important theorem in the linear circuit theory, which resolves the question of circuit response (current and voltage),however how to solve the power problem that is directly connected with the circuit response isn’t expounded directly in this theorem, and many people believe that the power can’t be super-positioned. This paper discusses and researches the power superposition from the linear direct current circuit, linear sinusoidal alternating circuit, and linear non sinusoidal periodic current, and puts forward the specific conditions for solving the power with the superposition theorem.
