Abstract

Lin Yu-tang is a great master in literary arena in 20th century, whose writings are quite abundant.His cultural thought is comprehensive and open-minded. In the foundation of deep understanding of him and his articles , I locate the angle of view in the relationship between Lin Yutang and freedom in this paper .From his thought, the literary work, the literature principle and the point of view of the reality, I try to explain the liberalism in his deep heart .
