Abstract
The optimization of the cutting parameters in high-speed cutting is analyzed based on the Taguchi method.High speed milling experiments with cutting speed, feed per tooth and depth of cut as cutting parameters have been performed with the surface roughness as measurement index. The effects of these parameters on the surface roughness have been researched by means of the signal-to-noise ratio and analysis of variance, and then the optimal cutting parameters have been found.
