Abstract

article has inquired into the reasons,which Zhang Xuecheng commented Yuan Mei unfairly at that time in the chapter The Coupling Relation of Literature and History·Notes on Poets and Poetry,and found the reasons led to the unfairness are due to the scholars tending to scorn each other,the differences between their views on poetry and their different personalities and ways of life.
