Confucius' "Harmony with Differences" and Social Harmony

Abstract

According to the need of the age,Confucius put forward the thought of with differences based on the summaries of historical experiences and thoughts of the former sages with a purpose of building up a harmonious society in a good order of hierarchy.He tried to realize such a social harmony through morality rule on the basis of his theory of benevolence and courtesy.The thought is a historical reference for the establishment of a harmonious society.
