Abstract
The relationship between Mao Zedong Thought and Populism is a controversial problem in the history of Mao Zedong Thought.It concerns how to evaluate the Chinese Communist Party and the history of the People's Republic of China.It also concerns whether to stick to the socialist orientation in reform.Above all,it concerns how to make a scientific evaluation of Mao Zedong Thought and whether to adhere to Mao Zedong Thought as the guiding theory for the development of the Party and the nation.Mao Zedong Thought came out from practical struggle and exploration.Hence,only by understanding Mao Zedong Thought on the basic of practice and putting it into practice can an appropriate evaluation be made on it.
