Abstract

A distinctive created by Fang Wen(1612-1669) in the early Qing dynasty(1644-1911),the Tu-Shan style poetry gained a reputation as great as that of the then prestigious Mei-Cun style poetry for its history-based subject matter,constantly changing viewpoints of narration,simple and easy language style,and plain and sincere lyric.Meeting the literati scholars'needs for writing down their true feelings and emotions,the poetic was acquired and followed by many poets of later times.A study of narrative poems in such a helps to understand not only the life of ordinary people in dynastic changes but also the evolution of Chinese narrative poetry in history.
