Abstract
In an effort to safeguard rural drinking water security and to improve water quality management in an automatic,information-based and scientific way,modules of GIS,basic information,real-time warning,control and surveillance are integrated to form an online monitor and warning system of water quality.A pilot application in a township drinking water project showed that the system is stable in operation with high accuracy.
