Abstract

As the core technology of the current IP network, the multi-protocol label switch (MPLS) is also expected to come to be the mainstream technology of constructing the virtual private network (VPN) network. This paper introduces the generating background of MPLS VPN, and makes detail analysis on the architecture of MPLS VPN, which includes several more important concepts in MPLS and the working process of MPLS VPN, and expounds the advantage and developing prospect of MPLS VPN.
