Abstract
The data of hail and its ground 0 cm temperature of 16 surface meteorological stations at 14:00 in April~May 1971-2005 are analyzed,the effects of two unsteady mesoscale meteorological processes to hail weather in southeast Guizhou are observed.The results show that the convective instability energy,orographic lifting effect,low-level horizontal helicity and gradient changes of the ground 0 cm temperature at 14:00 is closely related to hail shooting under the favorable macroscale circulation background.These factors offer the better basis to forecast the disaster weather with and without hail shooting.
