Abstract
A FE model of steady rolling radial tires was established considering the geometric nonlinearity of tire deformation,and the nonlinear contacts between tire and rim and tire and ground under deformation and so on.The effectiveness and reliability of the model was confirmed by the fact that the maximum cross-sectional width and stress predicted from the model were well in accordance with the experimental data.
