Review of workover technology and preliminary study on its developing prospects in southern sichuan gas field

Workover is a very important job to maintain normal productivity of oil and gas well from start-up to depleted period and increase EOR.In SPA,many gas fields have already come into the medium term or later period.Wells in workover is now becoming more and more increasingly and workover is also more and more difficult.Advanced workover technology can achieve good workover results and get good economic benefit.The paper summarizes regular workover technology and state-of-art in southern sichuan gas fields.The characteristic and developing trend of workover technology abroad are presented.
