Abstract
The Hutouya polymetallic deposit is one of the important deposits in the Qimantage polymetallic metallogenetic belt in Qinghai Province,which is dominated by iron,copper,lead,and zinc.Based on previous research and our field investigation and multiple-information analysis to this deposit,we describe the ore-forming geological conditions from strata,geological structure and magmatic activity in the Hutouya region,focusing on the occurrence features of ore bodies,ore composition,deposit genesis and deposit characteristics.We analyze the process of activities of each periods and ore-forming mechanism.We suggest that blind ore bodies at depth should be searched from northwest to southeast of the existing ore belts Ⅰand II as well as in the direction parallel to the faults F1,F2,and F3.And concealed rock bodies should be detected according to geophysical anomalies,and geochemical anomalies of Cu,Pb,and Zn can be used as marks of buried mineralized fracture zones.
