Abstract
To solve the ambiguity of satellite position in BeiDou Ⅱ satellite navigation system,the layout of the on-going construction of BeiDou Ⅱ Constellation is improved and consummated.For the regional navigation system and BeiDou Ⅱ satellite navigation system,experiment indicates the performance of coverage and navigation precision.Simulation results show that,BeiDou Ⅱ can meet the demand of a good navigation system,and it performs better than GPS navigation system,especially over china and areas around our country.At last,the results of the coverage performance at different minimum elevation is analyzed and simulated,thus characteristic of the result and the relationship between minimum elevation and the number of visible satellite in the constellation is determined,and then some principles for the application design of BeiDou Ⅱ satellite navigation system are highlighted.
