Preparation of Polyester Resin for Polyester/Epoxy Mixed Powder Coatings by PET Alcoholysis

Abstract

Preparation of polyester resin for polyester/epoxy mixed powder coatings by wasted PET alcoholysis was introduced.Control factors of polyester resin synthesis and influences of monomers on film performance were discussed.The results showed that the performance index of powder coatings prepared with the polyester resin accomplished that of the tranditional products,which provided good economic and environmental protection profit.
