Abstract
To understand biological resources in Jiaozhou Bay, a survey was conducted around Hongdao Island area in October and November, 2003, fowsing on benthos. Results show that the benthos biodiversity index in offshore zone was below 3. The distribution of species number is uniform; the dominant species is not evidence, the material reason of this phenomena should be investigated further.
