Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical significance in KAI1/CD82 expressions in cervical squamous cancer tissues and normal cervical tissues. Methods The expression of KAI1/CD82 were assayed by SABC immunohistochemical methods in 54 cases of cervidal cancer tissues and 13 cases of normal cervical tissues. Results Positive expression of KAI1/CD82 was detected in 13 normal cervical tissue(13/13).KAI1/CD82 expression is down-regulated in cervical carcinoma(28/54,P0.01).The expression of KAI1/CD82 in cervical cancer tissues significantly correlate with lymph node metastasis(P0.01).Conclusion KAI1/CD82expression is down-regulated in cervical carcinoma, and is to correlate with lymph node metastasis.
