A Review of Self-study in Psychoanalysis

As an important school of modern psychology,psychoanalysis has a history of more than 100 years.Its internal development has evolved gradually to drivel psychology,ego psychology,object relation psychology and self psychology.These theory models explored the ego and the impetus of personality development from different angels.Freud looked upon ego as the mediator between the libido and the super-ego.Ego psychology promotes the ego function,takes the self-adaptation as the impetus of personality development.Object rational psychology considers that the ego,super-ego and id are all consisted of the different inherent object relationships.Self-psychology puts emphasis on the self,regards it as the heart of one's spirit world and a general dynamic structure include the ego,id and super-ego.The research of ego in psychoanalysis deepens the opinion of the human essential,and also propels the development of the psychoanalysis movement.
