Analysis on Urban Runoff Recharge to Groundwater

This paper discusses the rise of runoff quantity, the decrease of its drain time and their consequences because of urban development,and the benefit of recharge of urban runoff to groundwater .The pollution of urban runoff and some factors which affect the quality of runoff are analyzed .The results show that the pollution of first flush is very serious ,and it is mainly affected by roof materials ,temperature ,the volume and intensity of rainfall etc. According to the results of research on rainfall quality, this paper analyses the conditions of replenishment of runoff for groundwater and the necessary measurements and treatment, and gives a brief description of the technology of runoff recharge.
