Abstract
Objective To sum up the characteristics of clinical symptoms of 60 cases of gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD)so as to further explore the evidences of the diagnosis and treatment. Methods The gastroensophageal reflux symptoms, such as acid reflux, food reflux, gastric burning sensation and non-cardiac chest pain,as well as extra-esophageal symptoms, such as laryngitis, chronic cough and asthma were analyzed. By gastroscopy test,non-erosive esophagitis(NERD)group and reflux esophagitis(RE)group were divided. The incidences of them and the situations were analyzed. Results The percentages of NERD and RE were 53.3% and 46.7% in GERD respectively. Compared with RE group, more males suffered from NERD(P0.05)and the average age was young(P0.05). There was no significant difference in the scales of gastroesophageal symptoms between two groups(P0.05),but gastric burning sensation was predominated in either group. The extra-esophageal symptoms were mild in both groups. The clinical efficacy and the improvement in clinical symptoms in the treatment group were significantly better than those in the control group. Conclusion The symptoms like gastric burning sensation, acid reflux, food reflux and post-sternum pain as well as extra-esophageal symptoms should be paid close attention for early diagnosis and treatment.
