The Trends of Uranium Supply-demand Based on Nuclear Power Development

Abstract

The balance of uranium supply-demand has been a focus issue under the backdrop of nuclear power's resuscitation in the world and active development in China.In China,the future of uranium supply is not optimistic and the security of uranium supply will become one of the factors which restrict nuclear power sustainable development.According to the current situation and prospect of the world uranium supply and demand,the paper suggests that China should strengthen the policy making for uranium resource supply capacity,pefect nuclear fuel recycling technology and fully utilize the overseas uranium resources.
