The purports that Ben Agger constructs ecological Marxism are to revive Marx's Dialectical method so that it can play a political role again by reinterpreting and reconstructing Marxism,unifying the model of the ecological crisis that reflects the present capitalistic reality,Marx's theory of alienation and the theory of the laws of capitalist social structure and their internal contradictions,to lead the ecological movement to the path of socialist revolution by grafting Marxism on populism,and to explore a new mode of ecological socialism in order to achieve emancipation of human and nature ultimately.
