Abstract
AIM To observe the gastric motor disorders and gastric mucosal lesions under psychological stress in rats. METHODS The model of psychological stress rat was established. Using radioimmunoassay and histochemical staining were used to observe the gastric motor disorders and gastric mucosal lesions under psychological stress in rats and ralationship of them. RESULTS Psychological stress caused the gastric emptying disorders. On the 3rd day under psychological stress, the gastric emptying was decreased significantly ( 82.1 ±4.5)%. On the 5th day and 7th day under psycho logical stress the gastric emptying was decreased much more significantly (78.4±5.4)%, (78.2±6.5)%. In the mean time, the degree of gastric mucosal lesions became more and more serious with the lapse of psychological stress time. On the 3rd day under psychological stress, the gastric mucosal lesions became increased significantly, the injury index was (28.6±3.6). On the 5th day and 7th day under psychological stress, the gastric mucosal lesions were increased much more significantly, the injury index was (32.1±4.2) and (34.6± 4.8 ) respectively. CONCLUSION Psychological stress can cause the gastric motor disorders and gastric mucosal lesions, and it is connected with the psychological stress time.
