Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical effects of treating tibial nonunion with inlaid external fixator.Methods Twelve cases of tibial nonunion treated with inlaid external fixator.Results The follow-up period ranged from 6 to 26 months (mean 10.6 months),which showed tibial nonunion healing in 12 patients.Conclusion It conforms to biological fixation principles to treat tibial nonunion with inlaid external fixator is a simple,minimally invasive,economic operation.
