Abstract
Knowledge is quite important in the 21st century and there is a great demand of innovation for education because of the informationization and knowledge economy. Then as the supervisor work is an important part of work in colleges and universities, in what way can we make it suitable for the time of knowledge? According to the features of the 21st century and the development of colleges and universities, I think we should pay much attention to fostering the qualified personnel that are needed by our society; the guiding of idiology and market; the instructing of science, art and foreseeability. And also we should adopt the four methods: plus, minus, times and divide , and establish the ideas of equality, service, responsibility, law and innovation.
