Abstract

The formed electric fleld of a line-charged and a grounding half infinite conductor is calculated by using the methods of mirror and conformal mapping on the coordinate system of the complex number, and the distributions of electric potential and field intensity are given. In further, the equations of electric field line and equipotential line are also obtained. The maps of electric potential and equipotential lines are plotted by using the software MATLAB.
