Abstract
The studies of Qiuyu's prose are roughly divided into three phases: affirnative estimate phase、negative estimate phase and Yu Qiuyu phenomenon phase . But the approval has a sense of flattery and the negative estimate is also immoderate . In the phase of Yu Qiuyu phenomenonthere too many disputes caused by personal feelings. We believe, with the lapse of time the Critics will Surely give an objective assess to his prose' s values of idea and aesthet- ics ,give him and his articles an appropriate historical role.
