An Empirical Study on the Relationship of Economic Openness and Regional Economic Growth——A Metrics Test Based on Fujian Database from 1981 to 2010

Economic Openness is an important index which measures a country or a region’s foreign economic cooperate and participate in international market.It also affects the regional economic growth.This paper chooses the relative database of Fuji an province from 1981 to 2010,doing data analyses and empirical study,the result shows that economic openness affects Fuji an’s regional economic growth positively and significantly.When refining the index to the secondary index,the paper finds that foreign trade dependence has positive and significant effect on Fujian’s regional economic growth,but it doesn’t influ ence FDI significantly.Furthermore,to the third-stage index,only export dependence has positive and significant effect on Fujian’s regional economic growth greatly.Finally,relative policy proposals are put forward.
